Cyber Centurion is currently seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a new position in Springfield, Virginia. As a member of the team the candidate will support the client by interpreting Ideal candidates will have a background in Deep Learning techniques, Geospatial data processing, & Python, to include major analytics and AI/ML toolsets such as Pandas, Spark, and Tensorflow. Having or obtaining the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification is required within the first 6 months of execution.
Key Role:
Provide task-unique functional expertise and in-depth knowledge necessary to interpret requirements, ensure responsiveness and achieve successful performance in a particular business, operational, engineering, mathematics, or scientific area. Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, as needed, and advises IT consultants with the extensive knowledge needed from the specialist for effective implementation. Mentor teammates, develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, use automation, apply machine learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help senior leadership make informed decisions. Provide the customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it.
Basic Qualifications:
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification within 6 months of starting
- 3+ years Python experience
- Experience using Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Tools including Pandas, Spark, and Tensorflow
- Experience with adapting to changing priorities and responding to ad hoc requests
- Experience with leading and directing small teams
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with the IC preferred
- Understanding for Geospatial Data and data processing techniques
Clearance:
- TS/SCI with CI Poly
